Emmanuel's Visit Day Three.

Today Emmanuel and I decided to go to school. He really liked watching The Pursuit of Happyness. I think he really enjoyed the togetherness or my class just as much as I do. It was a good school day although I think school brings back memories of his schooling or lack of. He is really open to talking about it though which I really respect, because that would be really hard for me! Then after school we got a blenders and then I took Emmanuel to smell the gorgeous blooming flowers at Lotus Land. He really enjoyed walking around and seeing the beautiful flowers and plants all around! Then I took him home and we light a fire and I did my homework.

My first journal of the morning...before 5! Alea, your words gave me goosebumps and your finish made me cry. What a real visit you had with Emmanuel. The things you shared with him and the words you put together to describe those times. Wow. The Alea voice that comes through your written words is so soft and thoughtful and full of care, and your pictures and your sounds add to that. And the song you choose just emphasizes that sensitivity and compassion. Thanks so much for taking so much time and care in visiting with Emmanuel and sharing it with me and your community. I look forward to our travels ahead. Thanks for adding tears and goosebumps to my coffee-my favorite snacks.
